In 2022 and 2023 I worked with Conductor Productions to introduce a line of reusable kitchen storage bags and bowls - Stasher Bags. Made of silicon, these products were designed for versatility and durability. We collaborated to find a brand voice and clear communication for a brand that had a real impact on the "Green" movement and introduced something we could each do in our households to make a difference and reduce plastic usage and waste. We crafted each word and phrase through multiple rounds of scripts with a great client to get this mix of messages to fit in a variety of media applications and timings – all :30 seconds or less. We crafted versions for generic pre-rolls and shopper sites, and co-branded versions for partners like Target.
We included more graphic versions to work without voiceover as above.
The entire set was built out within our production office. A real-life example of making things work.
We included a spokesperson version because they've been proven over many projects to give better results and ROI.
I took extra time to draw very simple, loose, but very thought-out storyboards and shooting boards, both for the clients and the production team. On small projects with limited resources, it's essential to be even more buttoned up for preproduction.
Beyond storyboards, I built out frame-by-frame graphics to aid editing and the final finished spots. Building these initially helped me discover quicker and more interesting ways to represent the story. We made it more creative and fun at every turn.
Throughout each shot of the production, as in all current work, we kept in mind timing and aspect ratios for a matrix of multiple versions.
